  • High market share in narrowly defined niche industry with a defensible market position
  • Strong existing management willing to remain on board for at least three years
  • Acquisition opportunity should not have one customer representing over 20% of revenue (including from governments)
  • Low to medium need to re-invest in property, plant and equipment
  • Strong biased towards purchasing companies with non-union work forces
  • We look to purchase up to 100% of the company
  • Biased towards businesses dominated by customers in the developed world
  • Prefer manufacturers of non-commodity products
  • Strong biased towards companies with corporate headquarters in the US, preferably the Northeast
  • We prefer companies involved in markets that have and will continue to experience above average growth
  • A business culture of strong values and ethics, customer focused, with fair treatment of employees
